Paving the way for forward-looking local and central governments.

Our eGovernment solutions are paving the way for forward-looking local and central governments to re-imagine the role of the public sector in modern society: to deliver greater productivity, meet the expectations of digitally savvy businesses and citizens and facilitate business growth.

Alan Kilduff, VP of Product Development speaking about Escher's eGovernment solution's and how these solutions can help increase citizen engagement, reduce transaction costs and develop a competitive knowledge economy.

Escher’s collaborative digital government solution harmonizes disconnected government agencies and establishes more meaningful business and citizen engagement.

It accelerates government mandates to promote transparency and publish Public Sector data in open, free and reusable formats. Our collaborative government solutions are open, social and inclusive – helping participants to communicate and conduct digital transactions.

It also provides a secure repository to save, access and update documents, interact on social media channels, and unlock the productivity and efficiency gains from digital transaction adoption.

Government agencies rely on Escher’s Identity software to authenticate, authorize, and maintain user identities across federated web sites. Capabilities includes registration, profile management, and geo-location address verification; it’s implemented as a standards-based federated Identity Provider.

Custom built according to Privacy By Design principles, Personally Identifiable Information attribute data is segregated from the user’s identity. Additional capabilities include:

  • Two Factor Authentication — provides anadditional layer of security that requires two methods, or factors, to verify an identity.

  • Single Sign-On (SSO) —authorized users can sign on once, then access other trusted sites without having to sign in again. As SSO minimizes repeat logins and password fatigue, online application forms are completed more frequently, leading to reduced abandonment rates and call center queries.

  • Group Permissions —administrators can assign users to one or more groups with different privileges for each account type. Users are granted access to the correct resources only.

  • SAML 2.0 — the solution uses this XML-based framework to communicate user authentication, entitlement, and attribute information between the Identity Provider and Service Providers.

  • Password Recovery — one of the many self-service features, this lets you retrieve lost passwords using the Forgot Password option. Captcha protected and time limited, for example, 24-hour expiration.

A secure web-based location for citizens and businesses to send, receive and store mail at their convenience—online, mobile, kiosk or agency outlets.

Digital mail provides central and local governments with a cost-effective platform to communicate with increasingly digitally savvy citizens and also businesses who wish to migrate from paper to digital to increase operational efficiencies.

Government agencies are turning to digital mail to send secure mass-mailings such as tax, fees, licenses, grants and other documents that contain personal information. Enterprises have adopted the solution to improve confidential inter-departmental communications.

It meets data protection standards defined by governments to distribute confidential information to business and citizens. Communications are encrypted with recipients receiving notifications in line with their delivery preferences.

The Hybrid mail system gives you the option to use both online and offline methods to deliver documents. It offers the flexibility to plan, schedule, and track standard and volume printing and processing, as well as setup email campaigns. Send documents to physical street addresses or email to secure inboxes, typically Digital Lockers.

For example, if you need to send utility bills to several thousand customers, you can setup a bulk order, and post the bills to their physical addresses. At the same time, you can email bills to the digital locker of customers who prefer to receive documents online.

Provide digitally connected citizens with flexible options to send and receive money. Replace physical money with digital alternatives to securely send, receive, and disburse payments for different transaction types, such as unemployment, retirement, grant payments and more

The end-to-end digital currency solution supports payment authorization, online payment and transaction reconciliation. It integrates with existing and legacy cash management systems.

  • Multi-Function Accounts — implement cross-channel payments, gift cards, receipts, ID and loyalty on the counter, kiosks, ATMs, online or mobile.

  • Secure Identification — security mechanisms includes PIN, biometrics, password protection or unique IDs.

  • Disposable or Reloadable — issue a ‘single use’ stored value card or electronic accounts for repeated payments, such as Pay-As-You-Go or government benefit payments.

  • Notifications — send event-based notifications to customers, for example, when account top-ups or deposits occur. View balances online.

  • Government Payments — migrate from physical cash to digital currency, minimize data input errors, streamline payments and protect transactions.

  • Multi-Tenant Platform — enable inter- or single-organizational payments where stored value is collected and payments are made to either a group or a singular institution.

  • Account Management — every account’s unique identifier is assigned to an individual or remains anonymous. Manage customer accounts, monitor transaction data, and generate cards, account, and scheme reports.

  • Allowable Goods — restrict purchases to certain types of goods, services and products. Control fund allocation to a defined group of merchants, by geographical locations, within specific timeframes, or at individual stores.
