We are looking to hire a Support Manager to join our growing team in Ontario, Canada

Position Overview

Join a group that is driven to help Escher deliver quality code.  We are looking for test automation engineers who will help us create a critical part of our continuous integration process.  This is primarily a development position- the code that you will produce will be leveraged in multiple test scenarios.  The test infrastructure is deployed in the Azure cloud and covers the entire system from Windows and Android clients to backend Windows servers.  The test infrastructure uses Gauge with the integration code written in Python.  In addition, there are emulators written in C# as well as test code that may leverage internal product APIs written in C#.

Duties of the Position:

  • Support the creation of UI tests in Gauge by providing the underlying Python-based framework
  • Help ensure that the test cases are correctly running in various test environments including in the Azure cloud
  • Diagnose test case failures and filing the required bugs
  • Implement Gauge test cases as necessary to support other groups

Test Automation Engineer Escher

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years Python experience
  • An understanding of test automation processes including UI testing
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience with Selenium, WinAppDriver, and/or Appium
  • Knowledge of software development and test automation best practices, code conventions, code review experience.
  • Experience with designing unit, integration, system, and user acceptance tests
  • Experience assessing test coverage

Additional experience considered:

  • 1+ years REST web services experience
  • Experience with Windows PowerShell
  • Experience with Agile
  • Experience with Bamboo or Jenkins
  • C# experience
