A Product Manager at Escher will lead the rollout process for a set of products and releases across the entire lifecycle and will serve as the product owner of these products. This position will work closely with Product Development to own all aspects of the products from conception to launch. This entails defining product vision/strategy, executing from a product roadmap, driving product development via story/epic creation, working cross-functionally with departments such as Sales, Marketing and Services/Delivery, and communicating product announcements and updates throughout the company. This position also requires interaction with customers and prospects to evaluate if specific business requirements can/should be handled through core product functionality or if aspects will require customization of the core product. This position requires extensive long-term and short-term planning and the ability to execute on these plans in support of the company’s strategic vision. A Product Manager/Product Owner at Escher is responsible for all aspects of the product portfolio including but not limited to strategy, roadmap, pricing, and positioning.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Launch new products including planning, story creation, and delivery
  • Enhance and support existing products based on current customer/prospect requests. This includes creation and prioritization of a product backlog for enhancements and bugs
  • Advance the product by providing new ideas/features/enhancements and provide requirements to Product Development
  • Drive revenue, margin, and value across the product portfolio
  • Evaluate new and current market opportunities by developing and managing market segmentation and go-to-market plans
  • Coordinate with and support marketing in developing a positioning strategy for product portfolio and communication messaging
  • Conduct market and customer research, gather opinions and findings of post industry analysts, produce market data analysis, and present conclusions based on the research
  • Identify and evaluate competitors’ offerings, providing analysis of their positioning, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Utilize and promote best practices in product management, such as agile/scrum methodology
  • Execute on other assignments as directed

Experience & Qualifications

  • BA/BS or higher in Information Technology (or related field) or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 5 years of product management or related experience in launching software products
  • Experience with managing multiple products for software developers meeting launch milestones and deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in support of the product vision in an innovative and fast-paced environment, and to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends; excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience in the postal or logistics sectors including knowledge or experience with carriers and route optimization an advantage

  • Located near Thailand with the ability to travel as required to the client location in Bangkok
  • Fluent in English and Thai for communication with the client and Escher staff is a plus
  • Ability to work extra hours or outside of normal business hours to meet client and program demands
