Boston, Mass. - April 12, 1999 - Escher Group Ltd, provider of the world's leading postal automation software, Riposte, will be in Darmstadt, Germany on April 12 and 13, 1999 to participate in the First Global Riposte Exchange Conference. Hosted by Deutsche Post, a long-term customer of Escher Group, the event will be a forum for Riposte users to share ideas and experiences, discuss postal automation trends and future requirements, and learn about the newest capabilities of Escher's industry-leading solution.

Escher representatives will present sessions that introduce the latest Riposte capabilities and share a technology roadmap describing initiatives and significant milestones that customers can expect to see in the near future. These will include cutting-edge developments in the area of Internet-based products designed to improve the productivity of customers' counter systems. Attendees can see the newest Riposte functionality at work in the demonstration center.

An important focus of the conference is to gather customer feedback on Riposte through a series of roundtable sessions. These sessions will provide an opportunity for customers to discuss their specific future requirements with Escher's product development team.
